Curaleaf recently brought together the skateboarding community for an event at the grand opening of Store #61 in Sarasota, Florida. The highlight of the event was the installation of our micro mini ramp, which served as the centerpiece for a collaboration between Curaleaf and the renowned Skatepark of Tampa. The partnership between Curaleaf and the Skatepark of Tampa culminated in a thrilling “Tricks for Cash” contest, where skaters showcased their skills and creativity for a chance to win cash. The event not only celebrated the stoke of skateboarding but also provided a platform for local talent to shred. In bringing together the worlds of cannabis and skateboarding, Curaleaf set a precedent for meaningful community involvement and demonstrated how businesses can create memorable experiences that go beyond traditional retail offerings. The grand opening party at Store #61 was a celebration of unity, creativity, and Sarasota’s skateboarding culture.
